This session will take you, step-by-step, through the business plan, and discuss the purpose and importance of each section. You will receive tips on how to effectively prepare your plan; and gain insight on what bankers and investors are looking for when they review business plans.
Financial Management for your Small Business Thursday, June 3, 2010 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. One of the keys to business success is an ability to interpret financial statements.
Through lecture, discussion, and case study this session will help you understand basic financial principles that must be applied to your business on a daily basis. By the time you complete the session, you will be comfortable with the functions of cash flow management, credit and collections, cost/profit/volume relationship, and business ratios. In order for any business to grow and thrive, the owners have to understand the 'financials' of their company. This includes cash flow, financial statements, break-even and more. This workshop will provide an overview of small business financials, and provide you with strategies for developing cash flow projections and preparing statements.
QuickBooks Clinic I - Learn How to Set-up Your Books!

In this session a certified QuickBooks instructor and accountant will teach participants how to set up, navigate and use QuickBooks. QuickBooks is a great tool for small businesses, and is developed to assist you in easily managing the recordkeeping, accounting and finances for your company. If you are only marginally using Quick Books, or not using it at all...this session will be invaluable for assisting you in understanding and using QuickBooks.
