- The Vera Institute of Justice examines recent state efforts to increase public safety by utilizing performance incentive funding. The report highlights Adult Redeploy Illinois.
- Authors from the Center from American Progress explore the use of social impact bonds in states around the country. The Cook County Board of Commissioners recently passed a resolution creating a committee to examine the potential of social impact bonds to reduce the county's jail population.
- The Redeploy Illinois' 2011 annual report highlights a 51% reduction in youth incarceration and savings of $40 million since its inception.
