Personal finance gurus usually treat credit card debt as the plague and urge consumers to pay it off--ASAP. But this week, Queen of Personal Finance Suze Orman announced on The Oprah Winfrey Show that the old advice is wrong. The recession has made job loss so prevalent, she says, that consumers now need to make creating an emergency fund with eight months worth of expenses their top priority."

Full Ride Scholarships to Tuskegee University.....Please Share.....     Tuskegee University scholarships   Tuskegee University ROTC Scholarships !!!!!!! Hello all, I spoke with the Commandant of Cadets (CoC) Det 015 Air Force ROTC at Tuskegee University. He relayed that there are 18 potential scholarships to be had for which they don't have enough qualified applicants. ;-(   He said if a student enrolls in Tuskegee and of course AF ROTC this fall semester and meets the requirements, they are eligible to compete for one of scholarships.  Money would be awarded at the start of the second semester.  The scholarship includes: tuition, books, lab fees, and a monthly stipend (amount depends on the year, freshmen is currently $300/mo). As an added bonus, the university made a deal that if the student receives the scholarship, they will pay for room and board.  A FULL RIDE, WHAT A DEAL!!!!!! Requirements: Min 2.5 GPA Pass AFOQT Pass Physical Fitness Test Pass Health Physical If you have friends/family looking for money to pay for college, here it is.  I've attached an application. In fact, President Bush submitted a $3.1 trillion budget for FY 2009 and a $2.9 trillion budget for FY 2008. Read More Drudge Report deceptively advanced accusation that Biden wrongly "credit[ed] stimulus for fire station" The Drudge Report linked to an article with the headline "Biden credits stimulus for fire station -- funded under Bush." But after facts emerged that undermined that claim, the Drudge Report removed any reference to the article and did not subsequently link to an updated version of the article or in any other way note the evidence undermining the accusation against Biden that it had forwarded.
