The White House now expects January’s crowded congressional calendar to force health-reform talks into February, past President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address. But top aides tell POLITICO that the president will go ahead with plans for what they call “a very hard pivot” to focusing on jobs next month, once the contours of a final health bill are set.
