AlcoholEdu® for High School Media Competition   AlcoholEdu For High School Media Competition   Outside The Classroom invites high school students across the country to enter the 2009-2010 AlcoholEdu for High School Media Competition by creating a poster or video that challenges the myths about alcohol use. "Everybody drinks on the weekends," "I drive better when I'm drunk," and "drinking makes everything more fun" are just a few of the many myths around drinking, and who better to set straight these myths than students themselves? Enter to Win! Submissions are due by March 31, 2010. Let's challenge the MYTHS about alcohol use! Submissions are due by March 31, 2010, and the competition is open to all high school students as long as they are sponsored by a teacher. This is a valuable health or art class exercise, appropriate for student groups, or even as a take-home assignment. We've provided you with the tools to make this simple to implement with your student community. Check out the submission guidelines and learn how to get your students involved. The Prizes First Place: The winning student* will receive a $250 gift check while the teacher who sponsors the first place student will receive a $500 gift check.
