Tommy Brown lost the mayoral race in Blue Island Illinois. This would not have been change if Tommy Brown had won. It would have been more of the same, but with "black" skin on it.

Blue Island Illinois is a racist community. There is no doubt about it. A stronger black candidate should have surfaced to defeat to the incumbent mayor. Then you would have seen change.
