Dear Republican Friend, In it she calls Republicans "naysayers" for asking hard questions about the higher taxes and runaway federal spending currently before the Senate. She even calls Obama's dangerous plans a "bold prescription" for America. I and my Republican colleagues think many of Obama's "cures" are worse than the disease. His budget "cure" will cost taxpayers $9,300,000,000,000.00. This irresponsible spending will ail taxpayers for generations to come. It's now time to let our side be heard. Your immediate contribution is more important now than ever. In just 5 days, we need to report what we've raised this quarter, and it's imperative that we have a good showing so the Democrats know we're serious about winning in November. It's never too early to start fighting, especially when you consider the facts. -
The Democrats are pulling out all the stops - offering to double contributions and send free car magnets to anybody who donates. That's typical liberal politics - bribing people for their support. -
Obama has the "bully pulpit" of the White House, and his surrogates in Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi - who are out of touch with American values. -
The Democrat Senate Committee is in deep debt - and they're getting desperate. This last reason is maybe the most important. Last month we matched the DSCC in fundraising - and we paid down our campaign debt. The sooner we can retire our campaign debt, the more resources we will be able to commit to getting the truth out about our candidates and our message. You already know how critical funding is to our mission. Getting the truth out about Obama's plans while supporting our candidates is the most important thing we can do. And that message is powered by television, radio, and online advertising. Our success next November relies upon your generosity today.
