NEXT STEPS/URGENT ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN

The Senate is scheduled to mark up its version of the Labor, HHS and Education Appropriations Bill tomorrow. CADCA will send you specific legislative alerts on the programs listed in the chart below with sample letters and detailed instructions as the appropriations process moves forward It is imperative that when you receive these alerts, you act as soon as possible so that we can have maximum influence on FY 2010 funding levels for the programs that support our field. Soldier's town kept mum on capture Almost since the news two weeks ago that a U.S. soldier had been captured in Afghanistan, a small circle of people in this central Idaho town of 7,000 have known it was one of their own: a local family's only son who was home-schooled here, danced at the local ballet school and rode his bike everywhere, was in the hands of the Taliban.

PepsiCo sponsors national gay workshop
Print the new Boycott PepsiCo Pledge and distribute, including giving a copy to the manager of the grocery store where you shop.
July 14, 2009
Dear Fred,
PepsiCo has given thousands of dollars to become a sponsor of the homosexual "Out & Equal Workplace Summit" scheduled for Oct. 6-9 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Florida.
The Out & Equal Workshop meetings are designed to show corporate leaders how they can promote the homosexual agenda in their corporation.
In becoming a sponsor of the Out & Equal conference PepsiCo has once again refused to give any support to those who are hurting and want to come out of this destructive and aberrant lifestyle.
In fact, homosexual activists continually tell corporate leaders (including PepsiCo) that it is impossible for an individual to leave the gay lifestyle. By helping fund the meeting, PepsiCo has decided to support that premise. PepsiCo gives thousands of dollars to promote homosexuality, but not one penny to help those who want out.
The organizers of the workshop say they are inviting "Political leaders and activists interested in understanding the impact of the equality movement in the workplace."
Take Action!
Sign the Boycott PepsiCo Pledge. After signing the pledge, please call Pepsi (914-253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652) and tell the company you will boycott its products until it stops promoting the homosexual agenda. If you will stay on the line, a live representative will take your call.
Call the PepsiCo bottler nearest you and ask it to use its influence in stopping the company's support for the homosexual agenda.
• Pepsi's products include Pepsi soft drinks, Frito-Lay chips and snacks (800-352-4477), Quaker Oats (800-367-6287), Tropicana (800-237-7799) and Gatorade (800-884-2867).
Print the new Boycott PepsiCo Pledgeand distribute, including giving a copy to the manager of the grocery store where you shop.
• Forward this e-mail to your friends and family so they will know about PepsiCo's support of the homosexual agenda. Millions of people are not aware of Pepsi's support of homosexual organizations.

Thank you for caring enough to get involved. If you feel our efforts are worthy of support, would you consider making a small tax-deductible contribution to help us continue?

Sincerely,

Don
